I got this for my dad that passed away last year to lung cancer. He wanted to take our family to California as adults and didn’t get the chance. We went this month and there just happened to be a tattoo shop by the house we rented called Mi Familia. Here’s to you, Dad.

My boyfriend and I have matching tattoos since a week, both our first tattoos actually. It might not be interesting for those who don’t know what it is, but we both have the artwork of our favourite musician tattooed (from the same music label) because the music means a lot to us. Also, without our similar interest in the same music, we wouldn’t be together in the first place and that makes the tattoo even more special to me.
